Cassamata Hill National Park
Park Overview
Cassamata Hill National Park is a protected area located in the province of Abra, Philippines. It was established on August 18, 1974 by virtue of Republic Act No. 6367 to preserve its natural beauty and historical significance.

The park covers approximately 57 hectares atop Cassamata Hill and offers panoramic views of Bangued town and surrounding areas. Its main feature includes a towering white cross that serves as both a tourist attraction and an important religious symbol for Holy Week pilgrimages.

Visitors can enjoy picnics, sightseeing, or simply relax amidst the lush greenery while soaking up local history; it's believed revolutionary hero Gabriela Silang once used this hill as her fortress during battles against Spanish colonizers.
