Park Overview
Mayflower Bocawina National Park is a lush, tropical reserve spanning approximately 7,100 acres. Opened in 2001, it is renowned for its rich biodiversity and archaeological significance. The park features a dense jungle, home to a variety of wildlife, including jaguars, pumas, and howler monkeys, as well as numerous bird species.
The park's main attractions include its three majestic waterfalls—Bocawina Falls, Three Sisters Falls, and Antelope Falls—offering visitors the chance to swim in natural pools or engage in waterfall rappelling. It also contains Mayan ruins, with unexcavated mounds and a pyramid, providing a glimpse into the ancient Mayan civilization. For adventure enthusiasts, the park boasts the longest zipline in the region, offering an exhilarating ride above the canopy.
