Holly Springs National Forest
Park Overview
Holly Springs National Forest, located in north-central Mississippi, provides a panorama of habitat types for wildlife. The casual observer may think of this public treasure as nothing but upland hardwoods and pine forests. That is hardly the case! The Holly Springs National Forest along with many partners are striving to increase the Forest's biodiversity by restoring and protecting its unique wetland communities.

Bottomland hardwoods and other wetlands provide habitat for resident and migratory wildlife not found in the prevailing wetland.
